Digital Camera Casio Exilim EX-ZS5 Review

Casio keeps fight its competitors with a successful entry-level camera, the Exilim EX-ZS5.

Low price and easy to use are the typical of camera from Casio. The compact digital camera uses a 26-130 mm lens and a five times optical zoom. The maximum resolution for still images is 14 megapixels and video at 1280 x 720 pixels (HD quality). The storage medium is SD or MMC card used. Despite its low price this compact camera certainly proves endurance: According to Casio the battery will last for about 340-350 shots. Don’t expect for a manual settings: the Casio Exilim EX-ZS5 is fully automatic.

Pricing at the Casio Exilim EX-ZS5 bargain has strong potential: Whether casual users, child, or simply someone looking for a second camera - the Casio Exilim EX-ZS5 appeals to a broad audience.

In addition, the operation is very simple and mostly self-explanatory. It was found that the Exilim series since has maintained an excellent subject program selection, the so-misses rather not shooting situation. In the housing, the device is simple, compact and lightweight - "ultra compact" to take out more than ever.

However, in the highly competitive segment of the budget cameras meantime, there is a harsh wind: Manufacturers such as Samsung offer more features at about the same price.

The Casio Exilim EX-ZS5 is not very different from its predecessors. It is a very good compact camera when you don’t have the previous version of Casio Exilim. But if you consider an upgrade from previous version, you’d better save your money.
