New Leica X1

Leica X1 series known as a digital camera with high image quality under low light condition and equipped with a quick as well as accurate auto focus.

The new version of Leica X1 even produces much better image quality in JPEG mode. The auto focus is more accurate and faster. Other cameras have a problem under low light condition, but not with Leica X1.

The display screen of the X1 is larger than the previous version. A depth of display has been added. The new firmware 2.0 can now be downloaded in the product section of the X1 website updates.

The Leica X1 is equipped with a CMOS sensor which achieves a resolution of 12.2 megapixels and the size of the APS-C format, which is commonly used in SLRs. The built-in fixed focal length lens with a focal length of 24 mm is equipped with an auto focus. Through the sensor format is converted to a small image focal length of 35 mm. The light sensitivity of the sensor ranges from ISO 100 to 3200. Leica has created an automatic program and a time-and aperture priority as well as a purely manual mode. The images are saved in either JPEG or DNG (Digital Negative) format in the raw data.

The Leica X1 stored on SD (HC) cards and is equipped with a USB 2.0 port and an HDMI port. The metal housing measures 60 x 124 x 32 mm and weighs approximately 290 grams.
