Review for Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ10

Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ10 is the successor of the popular Panasonic Lumix SZ7. The Lumix DMC SZ10 has a better zoom than its predecessor with 16x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. Although the SZ10 has a bigger dimension than the SZ7, it still fits on bag and pocket.

Snapshot is easier and faster with Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ10, because it takes only 3.36 seconds and 0.55 seconds at normal dawning light needed to shoot a picture. But the real innovation hides on its 3-inch touch screen display.

The manual controls on the Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ10 are very good for a compact camera and the development of the GPS is also successful. However, the Full-HD video recordings that are stored in the AVCHD format can certainly be proud. Furthermore, it is possible to make 3D images with the Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ10. The only weak point of is the mixed picture quality, especially at low light condition. This is probably due to the change of the image sensor, which leaves the CMOS sensor and adopts the CD technology. In short, the Panasonic Lumix DMC SZ10 is faster and more modern than the TZ7, it also offers more opportunities to make better videos and equipped with a touch screen, but has a slightly worse picture quality.
