Tips for Wedding Photography

Wedding is one of the most beautiful moments in someone’s life - no question that the photo and video are very important on this special moment.

Many couples hired professional photographers for two main reasons: they don’t have enough time to make it by themselves and they want best quality photograph on this very special moment.

However, sometimes couples also ask a family member or a friend as a second photographer. So in case you are the person; make sure you are following these helpful guidelines:

  1. In advance of the wedding party, you should commit the premises (eg restaurant, banquet hall, garden, etc.) and make very nice photo points identified. These are, for example large stairs at the registry office or a particularly sumptuous tree next to the restaurant entrance.
  2. In addition to the bride and groom there are certainly many important guests - such as close friends and parents - you should not miss. If you are commissioned as an outsider for wedding photos, you should absolutely make a list (ideally with photos, if you do not know the person) should hand over.
  3. Wedding photos should be natural: Neat happiness as those found frequently in group images, should be avoided whenever possible. Take time for the couple and let such as ice-breakers grimace: usually comes a lot of fun on - and the best photo smile is inevitable.
  4. Maintain a good mix of "found" images and images "in the Middle", which should arise spontaneously as possible - the only way to capture the mood of a wedding celebration genuine.
  5. Document all aspects of the wedding party - from the bride and groom to the guests to the wedding cake and the presents.
  6. Time is against you if you are too late so that many guests already tipsy or drunk. Photos in such a state are taboo. Similarly, shots should be avoided when eating.
  7. By way of exception: too much is better than too little. Photograph quiet more than necessary and then make a well-mixed readout together.
