The ELPH 500 HS comes with good full automatic mode. So that even beginners can make a good photo without any photography experience. Various scenes and modes are available and ready to be chosen. Even in low light condition, Canon PowerShot ELPH 500 HS makes a good quality of photo.
The transition to film offers the "photo diary". For each snapshot, the camera will makes a mini-clip of the daily routine as a diary to illustrate. The compact camera records 1080p video, the zoom is available during this mode and works very quietly. You can also make slow motion images with up to 240 fps.
The image is quite satisfactory. The noise is very low, the colors are bright and natural. The stereo sound quality is also clear.
