Kodak EasyShare Mini M200: Cheap Spy Camera
Kodak EasyShare Mini M200 reminds us to small camera on first James Bond movie. It might seem very small on its era, however it is only a bit smaller than most today’s compact camera.
Unlike small camera on James Bond movie, smaller camera mostly means small features too. Kodak EasyShare Mini M200 comes with a CCD image sensor on whose surface with 1 / 3 "precipitates smaller than the chips in most compact cameras. It takes photos with a maximum resolution of ten megapixels. For videos, it is sufficient only for a VGA resolution.
The lens of the small Easyshare Mini has a three times zoom. No optical image stabilizer for the user. The auto focus is not also the fastest of its kind
Kodak EasyShare Mini M200 offers several scene modes to choose from: The "intelligent recording mode automatically finds the best settings for the next picture. A total of 17 scene programs with preferences for different subjects are available.
The 2.5-inch screen on the back of the EasyShare Mini M200 works as a viewfinder and playback. It has a resolution of 230,000 pixels and allows a good selection of the subject. The display screen connot be read under direct sunlight or less lighting condition.
The four-way control square of the Easyshare Mini M200 is only used for navigation and selection of menu items. On another button, the photographer can set the flash. Self-timer and exposure compensation are available. All other settings, such as adjust the white balance or sensitivity to light are available in the main menu.

Kodak EasyShare Mini M200: Image quality
Image quality of the EasyShare Mini M200 is not convincing. The colors are pale and the level of detail is very low. This causes the blurred contours, only the contrasts are proving to be pleasant.
Moreover, at a light sensitivity of ISO 100, a slight image noise can be seen in the photos if the observer considered it in original size. From ISO 800, the images are completely useless.
The automatic white balance works very quickly and provides rapid auto focus for a sharp image. However, the optical zoom is not available and the internal microphone is very weak.
The removable lithium-ion battery charges by cable to the USB port directly into the camera. An external charger is not included. As a storage media SD cards are used.
Conclusion
Kodak EasyShare Mini M200 can still have a considerable advantage: its small size. But you cannot expect a high tech technology as James Bond’s camera.
