How to make time-lapse recordings?

With so-called interval shooting, created from a variety of single images, a time-lapse sequence that does take the viewer on a very special way.

Imagine for example the driving in the garden at home before - throughout the entire year. Also take pictures of people over a longer period have a special charm because of the influence of environment; mood and age can be compressed so impressive. Relevant videos on "YouTube" for a long time belong to the most frequently clicked contents of the platform.

The concept of time-lapse recordings is relatively simple: you shoot one and the same person / scene or the same object again and again and then paste the images together using special software to a time-lapse clip. The photographer has much knowledge of this course not, but a lot of patience: who photographed his garden every day for one week only, will hardly perceive changes. But coming at a record over several seasons to light details that have a video - let alone a single shot - could never grasp: the gray veil of spring gives way to the sun's first rays.

Ideally, you install a tripod for the project at a predetermined location. The angle of view must always be the same - even a slight shifting of the tripod head is enough to tarnish the quality of time-lapse.

Customize the photos from now on at fixed intervals. The larger these fail, the more elaborate preparations are: especially in public, crowded places can suddenly fences or other "disruptive" back into the picture. The image component, add the last step with a freeware program like "Bmw2Avi" together. The order to determine the file name following the usual pattern DSC0001, DSC0002, etc.. The playback rate should not too quickly, but also turn out not to be slow, since otherwise the effect faded. Which sequence is best ultimately depends primarily on the subject. Is therefore at this point, the pudding is in the pudding!
