Three Versions PocketDish

PocketDish is one of the latest innovations entertainment, brought to market by EchoStar. This device is designed to be very convenient for accessing video, music, games and pictures anytime and anywhere. In three separate versions of the PocketDish, it is possible to store up to 40 hours of programs, 20,000 songs and 400,000 photos. Movies and shows can be downloaded from the Dish Network DVR or other device and see the car, office, or at a friend's house. Each device has a rechargeable battery which allows 4 hours of viewing time before recharging. Music and pictures are also automatically downloaded to provide access to your favorite songs and good memories at each location. With just the music playback, the battery will last about 12 hours before needing to be refreshed. Another feature is the ability to play PocketDish. Puzzle, role-playing games and games of chance are all accessible in a small package.

Currently three versions PocketDish to the market. AV402E is the entry-level version and offers many features. The house is 2.2 inch LCD screen on the device that measures 4.2 x 2.4 x 0.7 in 20GB hard drive provides storage capacity of 20 hours of video, 10,000 songs and 200,000 photos. This version does not contain a built-in DVR, so the video programming must be moved from select DISH Network DVR players. Audio and images may, however, was transferred from a compatible source.

PocketDish AV500E is wrong version, which offers more features than AV402E. For almost double the price, the 500 offers an additional 10GB of hard drive space and DVR capabilities. This device, stores 30GB of about 30 hours of video, 15,000 songs and 300,000 photos. It also has a larger LCD screen 4 inches and slightly larger body size. The biggest difference, though, is the ability to record shows from TV, satellite receiver, cable box or VCR. Because the DVR, can also be connected to a television to play shows recorded on a bigger screen.

The most sophisticated version is AV700E it. The DVR has the same ability with the 500, but includes a 40GB hard drive, allowing storage of 40 hours of video, 20,000 songs and 400,000 photos. He also has a 7 inch screen for easier viewing. Both AV700E AV500E and comes with a remote control, docking station, removable battery and stand.

PocketDish In all models, programming can be downloaded for free from Dish Network compatible DVR or other device. If USB 2.0 ports are used, one hour of programming downloaded in 5 minutes. PocketDish can also be connected to the receiver without a compatible USB connection, but download time will increase to 1 hour for each hour of the program. All versions will allow software upgrades via satellite from Dish Network or website. Plus, PocketDish offers access parental control lock to let parents limit the child is not the proper programming.
