How To Format an Error SD Card on Canon G12

Do you have a problem with your Canon G12 SD memory card such as error reading or slow rate operation? 

In such a case you might need to re-format the memory card. Please aware that all data will be erased during this format progress.

If you wish to re-format, then perform the following steps with the Canon G12 :

1. Turn on the Canon G12 digital camera as usual with the ON / OFF button.
2. Press the MENU button and select the Settings tab (tools icon).
3. Select the entry "Format" and press the FUNC SET button.
4. Now select the "low-level form." and mark the box with the left and right D-pad button. Confirm your selection by marking the OK button at the bottom right.
5. You will be asked whether the memory card to format. Select "OK” and again with the FUNC SET button. The low-level formatting will begin immediately. Don’t do anything during this progress
