JVC Hybrid Camera

JVC introduced a hybrid camera at CES in January.

However, it was at that time still more a concept than a finished product. Now the camera slowly takes shape. It is equipped with a 10x optical zoom and a back-lit sensor operates at 10 megapixels. The moving images are captured in HD quality with a resolution of 1080/60p. In video mode the JVC GX-PX1 shots with 36 mega pixels per second. The resolution is reduced during rotation of videos to 5.7 megapixel, 60 fps even at the ISO set between 100-6400 are feasible.

On the back of the thin housing is a movable display with a screen size of 3 inches. This touch screen dissolves with 230,000 pixels and can be rotated in the same direction as the lens. This is quite handy to be able to record yourself.

The GX PX1-camera from JVC is equipped with an internal memory card with 32 GB and can be extended with different external memory cards. SD, SDHC and SDXC cards are supported.

The new hybrid camera JVC GX-PX1 will probably come in the end of March. However, there is no further information about its place and price.
