Nikon D3100: Family's SLR

Nikon D3100 is an SLR that not suitable for professionals, but rather is aimed at families. Nevertheless, it offers many possibilities: It takes full HD (1080p) and is equipped with Live View.

The D3100 is the successor to the D3000. It brings a resolution of 14.2 megapixels and EXPEED image processing CPU. The autofocus system includes eleven AF points. In addition the camera has a viewfinder.

The D3100 automatically focuses on up to 35 faces and beginners should bring digital SLR photography more detail. It is a fully automatic camera with many utilities.

Capture 3 frames per second for fast action shooting.


Nikon D3100 is intended for newcomers to digital SLR photography. It has many outreach programs and should be easy to use. The technical highlights include the full HD video mode.
