Preview for Pentax Optio WG1 and WG1-GPS

The Pentax Optio WG1-GPS is the GPS-equipped version of the WG1. The difference with the sibling is out of this feature and a slightly heavier body. Compared to its predecessor, the Pentax W90 WG1-GPS according to the manufacturer even more robust: water-resistant to 10 meters, dust proof anyway, shockproof to 1.5 m and freezing to -10 °. It also keeps pressure up to 100 standing kg.

The CCD sensor has a resolution of 14 megapixels. Technically, the WG1-GPS, a typical all-around entry-level camera: in 28 to 140 mm are available from a wide angle to telephoto in a light all the basics. Like the LED lamps can order the optics, which are particularly in macro mode, a great help. The macro capabilities of the Pentax Optio WG1-GPS can see by the way: from 1 cm, the camera focuses.
