Preview for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V is the successor to the HX5V that has been positioned as successful digital camera in the market. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX7V will be available in various colorful choices: black, silver, magenta, blue and white.
Instead of 10 megapixels, the Sony DSC-HX7V has offer 16 MP. The R-Exmor CMOS sensor, however, is 1 / 2, 3 "remained large - whether this heavily modified ratio of pixel count / sensor size negatively affects the image quality remains to be seen. Since the camera's internal data processing has greatly improved thanks to more powerful processors in recent years, we would rather wait for the first tests of the Sony DSC-HX7V.

Nothing’s new in the optic. Like its predecessor, the DSC-HX7V offers a 10x zoom range from 25 to 250 mm. Also the display is in the size remained the same - is larger than 3 inches at present not - but has the display resolution greatly improved and is now with 921,600 points, the best that can offer digital cameras - not even in the DSLR class the standard.

The operation has not changed that much. Likely that the Sony DSC-HX5V HX7V is more for users who prefer to concentrate on the subject than the camera settings. So there are various automatic features, but no way to make the exposure manually. Only exposure compensation of + / - 2.0 EV (Exposure Value, German: light value) is possible in 1 / 3 EV increments. What to be boring for advanced threat is a blessing for those who do not first take a course to make good photos.

When the equipment is much stayed the same and a lot has been completed. The GPS receiver including compass function is back with it. New 3D capability of the Sony digital camera: The DSC-HX7V can calculate (to each other with a slight displacement) in this mode of two normal photos of a subject a three-dimensional image that can be mapped to 3D-enabled TVs. Also, the already proven Sony pan panorama mode is back on board, are simply being rotated while pulling the trigger on the scene must be factored in the pictures the camera. Even 3D panoramas can be created.

A Full-HD video mode (1080i) is also back on board with an HDMI output; the films (and photos) can be viewed directly from the camera to a suitable TV.
