The Panasonic DMC-G2 camera system has an automatic face recognition, which makes a special focus when shooting people’s face.

If you need the face recognition mode, set the auto focus mode dial (Default: "AFS") to the face detection icon (framed head). Focus the Panasonic DMC-G2 now on the object. In the course of each face should be selected in the control panel with a golden frame. This framework follows the person and adjusts exposure and focus to match the lighting conditions.

If necessary, you can move the AF frame by touching the touch screen display at any time adjust its size. Finally, press the shutter button to make the recording.
