Fujifilm FinePix XP30: What’s in it?

Outdoor cameras are characterized primarily by a very robust housing: So is Fujifilm FinePix XP30 to a depth of 5 meters water resistant, dust-proof, frost-resistant up to about -10 degrees Celsius and shockproof to a height of up to 1.5 meters. The camera works with a Fujinon lens with a focal length between 28 to 140 mm and able to shoot images with up to 14.2 MP and videos in HD quality (720p). Fujifilm FinePix XP30 comes with a built-in GPS function that allows you to "geotag" the images. Here, the images together with the geo-coordinates of the local host are stored.

Although outdoor cameras generally tend to have relatively "brave" and innovative housing forms, Fujifilm FinePix XP30 is a bit unusual; the corners are rounded off and the lens is hidden on the top left in a large porthole. While the camera is a bit cheaper than most competitors, it offers built-in GPS module that very useful for users who travel with sweeping photo archives.

With a relatively high resolution, the picture quality of Fujifilm FinePix XP30 is not convincing; shooting in the evening twilight are hardly useful - here is the low price makes it apparent yet. And also the usage of GPS module will reduces the battery life significantly
