How to I use the automatic function on Panasonic GF1?

Shooting with Panasonic GF1 can be very easy if you use the automatic function.

In this setting, the camera takes the fine adjustment for the photo image and adapts it optimally to the light. The acronym stands for Intelligent automatic and includes a set of identical automatic functions. In addition to the scene and face recognition are part of the "iA" function, the red-eye reduction, the intelligent ISO setting, the backlight compensation and some other functions.

Once you have activated iA, make still the auto focus. In this case, "AFS"(for Auto Focus Single) or "AFC" (for continuous autofocus) is possible. To provide a focus on the subject, press the shutter button halfway and wait for the focus indicator lights up green. If you have activated your Panasonic GF1 face recognition is also an AF frame around each face drawn.
