Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is the latest outdoor digital camera of the Japanese electronics manufacturer, continuing the series of specially protected models that were developed specifically for athletes and nature lovers, but also a popular venue for active travelers. For this purpose, Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is not only better protected than their predecessors, but also comes with a greater number of useful additional features.

The DMC-TS3 comes with 12.1 MP resolution, 1 / 2, 3-inch CCD sensor. It also offers a continuous shooting of 3.7 fps at full resolution and up to ten fps at a reduced resolution of three MP. In addition, this compact digital camera records a Full-HD video mode with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 50 fps.

The lens is a Leica-developed 4.6x zoom lens with a small picture and practicable equivalent focal range of 28 to 128mm and a maximum intensity of F3, 3 in the wide-angle and F5, 9 in the telephoto position. The display of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is 2.7 inches tall and has a resolution of 230,000 pixels.

The special features include an integrated GPS receiver, a compass and a height and depth gauge. The small digital camera is waterproof to a depth of 12 meters, unbreakable frost from up to two meters height, and even to -10 degrees Celsius.
