Digital Camera with Super Zoom

Is the standard zoom range of compact cameras just not enough and annoying to constantly switch the lenses of an SLR? Then digital cameras with super zoom are the best solution.

Recent cameras have zoom lenses; the optical magnification factor starts at about 3 times and up to 30 times. This allows even distant subjects up close to get. However, it increasing the risk of blurring, depending on the zoom factor is exhausted. For this reason, most manufacturers equip their super-zoom cameras with image stabilizers.

The current best method is the mechanical image stabilization. It works in the camera body via a moving image sensor (CCD-shift), which is controlled by a motor or solenoid. The optical image stabilization takes place in the lens,. This act contrary to the movable lens wobbles, but which may affect the image quality if they do not work exactly.

Most digital cameras have an optical zoom of 14x to 30x in the area. The sorting is done on the zoom factor.
