Lumix DMC-FZ48: Panasonic focuses on wide-angle super zoom

The Lumix FZ45 has a sequel: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ48 digital camera superzoom in turn to - and speed.

Introduced at the Panasonic Lumix FZ48 digital camera was the so-called active mode. This is in addition to the known OIS image stabilizer for video recording with a mobile camera - for example when walking or driving - to ensure stable images. In addition, during the video recording still images possible with a resolution of 3.5 megapixels and it is the entire zoom range with a usable up to 24-fold magnification. The Panasonic Lumix FZ48 not only supports the AVCHD format, but also MP4.

All recordings can be viewed on a 7.5-inch LCD monitor with a resolution of 460,000 pixels (201 600 as electric viewfinder). 3D photos taken with the new camera are also feasible, can be displayed only on a corresponding output device (such as a 3D flat-screen TV).
