Memory Card on Sony DSC-HX9V

The Sony DSC-HX9V digital camera stores your photos and videos on a memory card you must purchase optional.

Just like any other compact digital camera you have the choice between all SD and SDHC types, and the Sony's proprietary Memory Stick standard, Memory Stick Pro and Memory Stick Duo. In the capacity of memory cards, there are no rules. However, note that you need for video recording capacity significantly more than for individual images.

So you can insert the memory card into the Sony DSC-HX9V:

  1. Turn on the Sony DSC-HX9V digital camera.
  2. Open the cover on the far left bottom.
  3. Now run the memory card into the appropriate slot. Depending on the brand it shows a little arrow icon on the correct path of insertion. The card must be felt to lock at the end and should not wobble.
  4. Close the cover.

If you want to remove the memory card at a later time from the Sony DSC-HX9V, open as usual, the cover and press with your fingertip on the back of the card. She jumps out in the course of which a small piece. Replace the memory card only if the Sony DSC-HX9V is off.
