Sony NEX-C3: Smallest & Lightest

Sony NEX-C3 is the smallest and lightest APS-C digital camera with interchangeable lenses. It comes in black or silver polycarbonate housing.

With only 225 g (without lens) and small dimensions of 10.9 x 6 x 3.3 cm, Sony NEX-C3 is so tiny and light that they can be held loosely in one hand. The display is 3’’ (7.5 cm in size) and 921 000 pixels of current upper-class standard. For this it is turning, which facilitates handling in many situations. The operation has been simplified for beginners. In addition to all the manual options there are also a smart automatic and scene modes on board.

Sony NEX-C3: How good is it?

The NEX series has introduced the e-bayonet mount, a new system. Sony NEX-C3 has a connection for E lenses, but can be used with an adapter with Sony and Konica-Minolta lenses (A-Mount).

The sensor in APS-C size (23.4 x 15.6 mm) is a CMOS type and has a resolution of 16.2 megapixels. It may be movably mounted, but only to prevent dust. The image stabilization is on the left of the lenses. The ISO sensitivity is up to ISO 12800, exposure times - available from 1 / 4000 and 30 seconds - thanks to the good catch.

A special feature of Sony NEX-C3 has included an external flash. This is not particularly strong (little more than average lightning, which are built-in compact cameras), but for maximum result, a better flash must be purchased.

Sony NEX-C3 equipped with tops features; the pivot panorama mode for 2D and 3D, the HDR-automatic, which combines up to six pictures and also works at dusk. Furthermore, many filter such as. manual background blur, monochrome, retro, pop art, partial color, etc., which all work in video mode. Speaking of video, Sony NEX-C3 records movies in HD; an HDMI port for direct viewing of images on a flat screen TV is available.

Similarly, yet nothing can be said about the speed of the Sony NEX-C3. The 25 focus areas for the contrast auto focus are promising. Sony NEX-C3 is worth to buy.
